eWitness Italia srl believes in the value of quality as a guarantee of professional and efficient service. This is why it deemed it necessary to define some qualitative goals in terms of internal policies and procedures capable of improving the efficiency of the quality and security management systems. Thanks to its never-ending search for quality, eWitness is able to propose solutions compliant with standards of excellence and to orient its services and results towards continuous improvement. As of today, eWitness Italia Srl has achieved two important certifications that ratify the adherence of the services it offers with recognised best practices.
ISO 9001:2008 eWitness Italia Srl obtained certification of conformity with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 standard regarding its “design and development of solutions and services for electronic document management and system integration” in 2012. This standard clearly underscores the freedom/responsibility of organizations in effectively translating the general requirements of the standard into a Quality Management System (QMS) that takes into account the specificities of the same organization (particular objectives, characteristic processes, type of organization, size, etc.). More than in the past, the auditors of the certification bodies should therefore be able to: a) “interpret” the organization as an “open system” that can respond to the requests of the economic-productive environment in an “adaptive” manner b) become familiar with the concept of “risk management”, considering that one of the main purposes of a QMS is to safeguard against and mitigate the probability and severity of the undesirable events that might arise from the interaction between organization and context in particular. It does so adopting appropriate and specific management tools and practices.
To guarantee the implementation of the requirements, eWitness has put into effect a quality policy that involves:
- determining processes to adopt in all company functions to obtain an effective quality management system;
- objectives aimed at optimizing efficiency and monitoring the processes in order to achieve them;
- planning of actions aimed at optimizing processes;
- formulation of an improvement plan;
- identification of resources that can implement a quality system.
