The creation, as well as, theoretical development of the eWitness technology was brought about by a group of European notaries that, joining together in 2006 in a GEIE association called Euronot@ries, recognized the always increasing number of requests for notarial services in the digital world.
Euronot@ries , whose founders include the German notary public Hans Wolfsteiner (president of the Company) and the Italian notary public Riccardo Genghini (protagonist of the European standardization for digital certification in the position of president of CEN-ISSS E-Sign WS-European Committee for Standardization-and of ETSI-European Telecommunications Standard Institute- and ESI-Electronic Signature Initiative-) may be considered a true and actual marking of guarantee as well as quality, with respect to the utilization of eWitness technology as an instrument for notarial certification of digital documents and more.
